KUM x loose painted

What is Loose Watercolor?

Loose Watercolor is not about depicting motifs in detail, realistically and perfectly, but rather about painting free shapes with a few, loose brushstrokes. Here the control can be consciously relinquished, in the end the watercolors run as they want anyway. It is a letting go of perfection and reality, towards abstraction and simplified representation.

Included in the set are:

KUM Memory Point Round – Size 4

KUM French Aqua – Size 4

KUM French Aqua – Size 8

For loose painting, a brush is best to have a relatively large size and a fine tip, so that both thin and thick lines can be painted with the same brush. This allows you to work particularly quickly, which is very advantageous when painting freer shapes.

French Aqua -Size 8

The Wash Brush is designed to paint larger areas and backgrounds with ease. Its exceptional storage capacity and particularly soft fibres make it the perfect wash-up brush.

Memory Point Round – Size 4

A versatile brush with a fine tip that perfectly complements wash-out brushes for precise details and as an all-rounder. Its excellent elasticity ensures a high level of control over the brush.

French Aqua -Size 4

The smaller wash-up brush is perfect for controlled wash-and-blend in smaller, detailed areas. With its very soft fibers, it is the ideal complement to the Frenchi in size 8.

No idea what you want to paint first with the set?

The set includes a QR code that will take you to a comprehensive digital guide from Lena. Step by step, she uses various tutorials to show how she paints waves or flower wreaths, for example.
