House fronts, gardens and lonely houses in the middle of greenery make you want to capture the urban scene in paint too? Lena takes us along and looks inside the houses too, painting beautiful interiors in watercolour together with us.

In this collaboration, Lena put together four brushes into one set — the perfect harmony of Memory Point and Faded brushes, for wonderful, loose, cosy watercolour illustrations.

The set contains:

- KUM Faded Flat - size 8

- KUM Faded French Rigger - size 4

- KUM Memory Point Round - size 3/0

The fibres of the Memory Point brushes snap straight back into shape after every brushstroke. Perfect when you want to paint precise lines or controlled details without the tip fraying.

The Faded brushes, on the other hand, are more relaxed: their fibres are softer and give way more, giving them a smoother, more flexible feel. Ideal when you want to paint loosely and create soft transitions.

Faded Flat - size 8

Lena's all-rounder for every interior and urban motif is the size-8 Faded flat brush. Its flat shape lets you apply colour beautifully evenly over large areas.

Memory Point Round - size 3/0

The set is rounded out by the 3/0 Memory Point round brush as the detail brush. With its super-fine tip, it's excellent for the small, precise details found in many illustrations.

Faded French Rigger - size 4

The Faded Rigger wash brush is especially suited to backgrounds and larger, loosely painted areas in a motif. Its long, fluffy, generous bristles take up a lot of water and are great for loose watercolour motifs.

Memory Point Round - size 4

The size-4 Memory Point round brush is her secret weapon for every motif. Its medium size lets you work both larger and smaller motifs beautifully with this one brush. It's excellent for painting gradients and contours.

Hidden in the brush set is a QR code you can use to download and print four wonderful motif templates from Lena, in Urban and Interior Watercolor. These can then easily be transferred onto your watercolour paper, and off you go on your new watercolour adventure!

Lena Ullmann, known as @pinsel.yoga on Instagram, is an artist with a great passion for watercolour painting. In 2018 she discovered her passion for bullet journaling, which soon expanded to lettering and loose watercolours. Her latest book, Cosy Watercolor, carries the same name as her brush set, and inspires artists to express their creativity in a relaxed and beautiful way.
