Long cone sharpener
Sharpener for maximum precision
What is a long cone sharpener?
The blades point at a particularly small angle to the pencil.
This creates a particularly long and precise pencil tip.
The finest details and lines can be worked out in this way.
In addition, the small angle keeps the tip sharp for longer and it is not necessary to sharpen the pencil as often.

Pencil sharpener of the highest quality
– Made in Germany
All sharpeners are equipped with ultra-hard (65 hrc) and razor-sharp blades made of high-carbon steel.
These blades are harder than any high-quality knife.
This is necessary because pencil leads are made from a mixture of graphite and various types of clay, which are extremely hard.
Every knife is razor sharp.
A felt grinding wheel (similar to leather) is used in the final step of the automatic grinding process.
KUM DYNAMIC TORSION ACTION®
We are the only manufacturer in the world to equip its sharpeners with a curved blade.
The curved blade means that the blade edges are under constant tension and are not lifted by the pressure when sharpening.
This in turn prevents the pencil tip from “springing out” or “tearing”.
The pressure on the screw head also prevents it from lifting or loosening.
MAGNESIUM
In order to achieve a perfect sharpening result, extreme and very precise tolerances must be maintained.
Magnesium is the ideal material for producing sharpeners with the highest precision.
