What is Loose Watercolor?
Loose Watercolor isn't about rendering motifs in detail, realistically and perfectly — instead, free shapes are painted with a few loose brushstrokes. Here you can consciously let go of control, since the watercolours will run wherever they want anyway. It's a letting-go of perfection and reality, toward abstraction and simplified representation.
The set contains:
- KUM Memory Point Round - size 4
- KUM French Aqua - size 4
- KUM French Aqua - size 8
For loose painting, a brush is best with a relatively large size and a fine tip, so the same brush can paint both thin and thick lines. That lets you work especially fast, which is a big advantage when painting freer shapes.
