KUM Black Line | Oil painting brushes for the highest demands

The KUM Black Line brush was specially developed for oil painting.
The Brislon fibers make this brush unique and a must-have for any artist.
The synthetic fibers have a hollow core that allows for excellent color absorption.
The fibres of the Black Line brush offer a high level of stability.
This enables the distribution of highly viscous media, such as oil paints, more easily and in a more targeted manner.
The thin, tapered brush tip is particularly suitable for smaller and finer paintings.

Compared to conventional brushes, the Black Line brush has an extra-long handle, which makes for more comfortable painting on the easel.
The longer stem allows the picture to be painted from a greater distance.
This allows a better view of the artwork and opens up further ideas for perspective and image design.
The Black Line brush is particularly easy to clean.
This is particularly important because the paint residues of the oil paint are particularly stubborn around the fibers and can often only be removed with special solvents.
To avoid contamination of the new paint, thorough cleaning is essential.

The special properties of the fibres support this process and
make the brush a long-term companion of every artist.

The KUM Black Line brushes are also very suitable for acrylic painting.

ROUND

The fine brush tip allows the smallest details to be implemented.
At the same time, the large number of closely spaced hairs guarantees particularly good colour retention.
This allows larger areas and color gradients to be created quickly and easily.

FLAT

The flat version of our Black Line brushes is particularly suitable for spreading paint and painting even surfaces and glazing.
The shape is also perfect for working out corners.
The brush edge can also be used to draw fine lines.

LADYFINGER

The wide, tapered shape combines the advantages of the flat and round variants.
This makes cat-tongue-shaped brushes particularly versatile.
The shape allows the artist to apply paint evenly and smooth color transitions, as well as paint lines and fine details.
In addition, it is ideal for working out round shapes.
